Who we are

Fly (“we”, “us”) provides an AI-powered Chrome extension that groups browser tabs and a companion backend and billing system.

Information we collect

• Account: email address and password hash.
• Usage: tab metadata (URLs and titles) sent from the extension to generate AI groupings. We do not store page content or keystrokes.
• Diagnostics: basic device/extension version, error logs, and feature usage counters.
• Billing: handled by Stripe. We do not store full card details.

How we use information

• Provide AI grouping, limits, and Pro features.
• Authenticate users and prevent abuse.
• Process payments and send receipts (via Stripe).
• Improve reliability and security.

Sharing

• Stripe (payments/receipts).
• AI provider (classification requests for grouping). Only tab metadata needed for classification is sent.
• We do not sell personal data.

Retention

• Account data: retained until you delete the account or as required by law.
• Billing records: retained by Stripe per financial regulations.
• Logs/metrics: short-lived for operations and abuse detection.

Security

Transport encryption (HTTPS), password hashing, least-privilege access, and periodic backups. No method is 100% secure.

Your choices

• Access, correct, or delete your account by contacting support.
• Unsubscribe from non-transactional emails.

International & compliance

We process data where we or our providers operate. For GDPR/CCPA requests, contact support and we will respond within statutory timeframes.
